Die Rocker Parts GmbH hat den schwenkbaren Fahrradvorbau RocStem erfolgreich nach der aktuellen DIN EN ISO 4210-5:2023 prüfen lassen. Damit wurde der Vorbau nach den in der Norm definierten Prüfverfahren für sicherheitsrelevante Fahrradkomponenten getestet.
Die bestandene Prüfung ist für uns ein wichtiger Meilenstein. Unsere Vorbauten werden bereits seit vielen Jahren im Alltag eingesetzt und haben sich tausendfach bewährt. Mit der erfolgreichen ISO-Prüfung liegt nun zusätzlich ein unabhängiger Nachweis vor, der unsere Entwicklungs- und Qualitätsarbeit dokumentiert.
Im Zuge der Prüfung haben wir unsere Vorbauten klar definierten Einsatzprofilen zugeordnet. Sie orientieren sich an den Anforderungen der DIN EN ISO 4210 und helfen dabei, den vorgesehenen Einsatzbereich eines Vorbaus besser einzuordnen.
RocStem wurde dem Einsatzprofil „Aktiv“ zugeordnet. Dieses Einsatzprofil umfasst unter anderem:

Unser Ziel war es, die Qualität und Sicherheit von RocStem nicht nur durch unsere eigene Entwicklungs- und Praxiserfahrung nachzuweisen, sondern zusätzlich durch eine Prüfung nach einem international anerkannten Standard dokumentieren zu lassen.
Mit der erfolgreichen Prüfung schaffen wir eine nachvollziehbare Grundlage für die technische Einordnung unserer Vorbauten. Kunden, Händler und Werkstätten können künftig noch besser erkennen, für welchen Einsatzbereich RocStem entwickelt und geprüft wurde.
